JVM: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 15.0.1 (64-bit) by AdoptOpenJDK I would really, really appreciate any help as I can't live without my UMS! It's the best!Ĭode: Select all 21:07:35 WARN Could not rename "C:\ProgramData\UMS\debug.log" to "C:\ProgramData\UMS\"Ģ1:07:35 INFO Buffered logging turned OFFĢ1:07:35 INFO Verbose file logging pattern enforcedĢ1:07:36 INFO Starting Universal Media Server 9.8.2Ģ1:07:36 INFO Based on PS3 Media Server by shagrath, copyright 2008-2014Ģ1:07:36 INFO Java: OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 15.0.1 (64-bit) by AdoptOpenJDKĢ1:07:36 INFO Maximum JVM Memory: 1.3 GiBĢ1:07:36 INFO Language: English (United States)Ģ1:07:36 INFO Working directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media ServerĢ1:07:36 INFO Temporary directory: C:\Users\RICHAR~1\AppData\Local\Temp\UMSĢ1:07:36 INFO Logging configuration file: C:\Program Files (x86)\Universal Media Server\logback.xmlĢ1:07:36 INFO Logfile: C:\ProgramData\UMS\debug.logĢ1:07:36 INFO Profile directory: C:\ProgramData\UMSĢ1:07:36 INFO Profile directory permissions: drwxĢ1:07:36 INFO Profile configuration file: C:\ProgramData\UMS\UMS.confĢ1:07:36 INFO Profile configuration file permissions: -rwxĢ1:07:36 INFO Web configuration file: C:\ProgramData\UMS\WEB.confĢ1:07:36 INFO Web configuration file permissions: -rwxĢ1:07:36 INFO Using database located at: "C:\ProgramData\UMS\database" Oh, and I checked the Windows firewall and both public and private firewalls are allowed for UMS, UMS service. On the PS3 it times out with DLNA 7531 error, while on the LG TV it just times out after a while. To summarize: Both PS3 and LG TV can see the UMS icon but clicking on it results on a continued reading error. So does anyone know what is going on? I have a feeling it has something to do with the new Bell router since it all started around that time. Again, if I check my UMS on my PC, I can see it also displays my LG TV. It just hangs reading and reading and eventually times out. The TV can also see UMS, but clicking on any of the shared folders does not return any files. Today, I tried hooking up my LG TV to UMS to see if it was a PS3 error. If I check the UMS status screen on my computer, it can see the PS3. One thread suggested disabling media servers in the PS3 settings and turning it back on, which I did, but the error persists. Yes, I have Googled it for the past week to get tips on how to fix it but there is no good info. It sees the UMS icon under media servers on the PS3 but if I click on it, it gives me a DLNA error 7531 or 2006 after some time of trying to read the folders / files. Since around that time, my PS3 cannot connect to UMS. It has always worked great.Īs of about a week ago, I changed my internet service to Bell Canada. So when I turn on my PS3, I see UMS under media servers and I can connect to my computer and play any video, music, etc. I have been using UMS for years and I love it. I hope you guys can help me as I am not very technically minded.
